Tanka & Haiku

Autumn Haiku

"One by one each falls
lonely withered autumn leaves
soon you will be dust."

alternative: "one by one each falls
lonely withered autumn leaves
travel with the wind."

Storm Tanka

" In the storm I stand
as the fierce roaring thunder
breaks the sky in half
ocean tides seduced by wind
drift me whole to unknown fate."
